国际工程联盟主席Elizabeth Taylor说：自2016年以来我一直和中国有合作，我看到了巨大的变化，无论是在理念还是在干劲上都让人深受鼓舞，尤其是中国工程教育的转型，在这段时间里展现出一种清晰的愿景，大家能共同努力让工程教育真正改变世界。天津大学让我印象深刻，他们正在积极确立在这一领域的领导地位推动工程教育的转型。虽然我在这里的时间很短，但已经了解了一些举措，比如地震工程实验装置和智能制造。他们正在汇聚许多关于工程教育转型的前沿理念并融入课程设计以及他们的实践方式中。
Elizabeth Taylor, the president of the International Engineering Alliance, said: I have been engaged with China since 2016 and I have seen enormous changes in the approach and the energy, that is inspiring the transformation of engineering education in China over that period. Their is sense of a vision that they are all working towards to make engineering education transformative for the world. It’s a very impressive university and they are certainly establishing them their leadership in the transformation pf engineering education. From the a small amount of time that I have been here, I have looked at a couple of their initiatives, that’s the earthquake facility and the intelligent manufacturing.
